The 2021 Honorees include: ● Bryan Stevenson, Founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative (Social Justice Award) ● Cherene Caraco, CEO of Promise Resource Network and Director of Peer Voice NC (Innovator of the Year) ● Jason Mitchell, Special Counsel at Schulte Roth & Zabel, LLP (Outstanding Pro Bono Lawyer) ● Judy Woodruff, Anchor and Managing Editor, PBS NewsHour (Outstanding Ally Award) ● U.S. Representative Katie Porter (CA-45) (Congressional Champion Award) ● Latham & Watkins LLP (Outstanding Pro Bono Law Firm) ● Thomas Francis Hehir, Harvard University (Ret.) (Leadership in Education) ● Vesper Judith Moore, COO of Kiva Centers (Emerging Advocate of the Year) Multiplatinum artist, activist, and EGOT Winner John Legend will make an appearance to present the Social Justice Award to Bryan Stevenson, and Mandy Harvey, America’s Got Talent Singer and Songwriter, will give a live jazz and pop performance. Yamiche Alcindor, Washington Week host and White House Correspondent at PBS NewsHour will emcee.
